Meet Celebrate Fatigue’s partner, Steph Rupp.

Cutting and sewing fatigues fabric is interesting. The jackets and pants are made from a canvas weight fabric which is fabulous for totebags, luggage tags, and other products that can use a heavy fabric.

To get the organization going, I was given the task to design using a proposed list of products from fatigues, utilizing the pockets and other design features.

Everyone needs a way to carry their phone, right? This wish evolved into two styles.

Since most military fatigues are made from a tough, canvas-type fabric, we decided we needed help to take them apart for recycling into products.

While the varying sizes and styles of fatigues mean our products must be cut one at a time, the most efficient sewing methods utilize mass production sewing.

Owner Connie Swartz was introduced to Phyllis Carlyle as someone with extensive sewing and design knowledge.
